A reliable internet connection supports everything from customer payments to video calls and cloud applications. DrayTek’s expanded Vigor 2867 and Vigor 2928 ranges give businesses more choice, with new models combining integrated 4G or 5G connectivity and optional Wi-Fi 7.
Whether you are moving from DSL to full fibre or strengthening an existing fibre network, these routers offer options for keeping your business connected when your primary connection becomes unavailable.
Vigor 2867: Flexibility for DSL and Full Fibre
The Vigor 2867 series supports businesses using DSL connections while providing options for Ethernet-based fibre services. The expanded cellular range adds integrated mobile broadband, giving organisations more flexibility as their connectivity requirements change.
Choose from:
- Vigor 2867-4G — integrated 4G mobile broadband.
- Vigor 2867-5G — integrated 5G mobile broadband.
- Vigor 2867be-4G — Wi-Fi 7 with integrated 4G mobile broadband.
- Vigor 2867be-5G — Wi-Fi 7 with integrated 5G mobile broadband.
This makes the range worth considering for businesses that want to retain DSL compatibility while preparing for a full-fibre connection.
Vigor 2928: Built for Fibre-First Business Networks
For organisations already using full fibre, the expanded Vigor 2928 range combines mobile broadband options with Multi-WAN capabilities and high-speed wired connectivity, including 10GbE and 10G SFP+ options.
The new models include:
- Vigor 2928-4G — integrated 4G mobile broadband.
- Vigor 2928-5G — integrated 5G mobile broadband.
- Vigor 2928be-4G — Wi-Fi 7 with integrated 4G mobile broadband.
- Vigor 2928be-5G — Wi-Fi 7 with integrated 5G mobile broadband.
Multi-WAN and automatic failover can help reduce disruption by switching to an available backup connection. A suitable active SIM and data plan are required for mobile connectivity. Mobile performance depends on coverage, the SIM service and configuration.
Add Network Protection with VigorShield Guardian
The Vigor 2867 and Vigor 2928 series support DrayTek’s VigorShield Threat Protection Guardian licence. This optional security subscription provides AI-assisted protection at the network gateway, including coverage for devices that cannot run endpoint security software.
Guardian supports networks of up to 200 devices, helping businesses protect equipment such as printers, cameras and other connected devices alongside their computers. The licence is separate from the router unless expressly included in a bundle; check compatibility and firmware requirements before purchase.
