Product description
The HPE Networking Instant On 1830 JL812A switch provides 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports and two dedicated Gigabit SFP uplinks for small business networks. It offers smart-managed Layer 2 switching, with VLANs and quality-of-service features to help organise traffic and prioritise business applications. This is the non-PoE model and does not supply power to connected devices.
Choose Instant On cloud management through the mobile app and web portal, or manage the switch using its local web interface. The fanless enclosure operates quietly, making it suitable for offices and other environments where equipment noise matters. Energy Efficient Ethernet helps reduce energy use during low traffic periods.

Enhanced connectivity
24 auto-sensing 10/100/1000 RJ-45 ports connect local devices, while two Gigabit SFP slots provide fibre uplink options. Compatible transceivers are optional.
Advanced security
A Trusted Platform Module protects cryptographic keys used for cloud connectivity. VLANs, denial-of-service protection and storm control help protect network traffic.
Energy efficient
Energy Efficient Ethernet and a fanless enclosure help limit power use and eliminate fan noise. TD lists operational power consumption of 19.1 W.
Comprehensive network management
Manage the network using Instant On cloud management or the local web interface, with protocols including SNMP, HTTP and HTTPS. Available functions depend on the selected management mode.

We require 1 working day to process and handle your order before despatch. Standard delivery takes 2 working days after despatch; Express delivery takes 1 working day after despatch. Allow 3 working days in total for Standard or 2 working days for Express, including handling. Working days are Monday to Friday.
UK Standard delivery is £2.49 for orders below £8 and free for orders of £8 or more. Express and timed services cost extra. Overseas fulfilment may take longer; we will notify you if this applies.

For eligible online purchases, tell us within 14 days of delivery if you wish to cancel, then return the goods within a further 14 days. You may inspect items as you would in a shop; deductions may apply for handling beyond what is necessary. Statutory exceptions apply, including certain sealed hygiene goods once unsealed.
